My name is Jessica and I am so glad you made it here! I believe in giving honest reviews of Beachbody products to help people be able to find the best program for their situation and goals. I have been doing Beachbody workouts as far back as 10 years ago. Let me tell you, Beachbody workouts and nutrition programs have given me back my confidence and my health. I went through a period in my life when I did not have that confidence, it was a dark and heavy time. I found a way through all of that and I would love to tell you about how I was able to lose 60 pounds of beautiful baby weight that was no longer serving me. Weight gain is a very normal part of pregnancy, however, we don’t need to keep it if it is weighing us down emotionally, mentally and physically, right? My goal for this site is to give honest feedback about all of the products I have used to regain my confidence, reach my weight and body figure goals, and learn to live a healthy lifestyle. I do not do the quick fixes you hear about out there. I believe if you truly want a lasting change, you will put in the work to make it happen. It has worked for me and I have seen it work for many others as I have been there to help and support them along their way.
My Story
About 4 months after having my first baby I became interested in exercising and losing the 60 pounds I’d gained during pregnancy. I was ready to start feeling more like me again. More alive, more vibrant and more energetic! One night, late, I saw an infomercial for a program called T25 with a workout trainer I was familiar with named, Shaun T. I’d done Insanity with Shaun T three or four years earlier and loved it! So I clung on to the hope of his new program that seemed to promise me strength and health, which is what I wanted so badly. So I ordered that single program and went for it. Now 6 years later, I am still here, faithfully using Beachbody’s quick and simple home workouts (which have all now been digitized and hosted on a platform called Beachbody on Demand) and still loving them as much, actually more, than when I started. I started back in 2014 and had a second baby in 2016 and have been able to use these tools and programs to lose excess weight from pregnancy and poor eating habits and I have been able to keep the weight off.
This is a picture of me with my daughter right before I got serious about my health and fitness and then with her as she is heading off to preschool 4 years later, still keeping the weight off and loving life.
In addition to these workout programs I have also learned portion control nutrition taught by Autumn Calabrese which has been absolutely amazing because it isn’t a fad diet, it isn’t about cutting out any food groups like carbs, hello! And it really teaches you how to fuel your body to perform it’s best every single day.
With an entire library of these quick and simple workouts at home, paired with a very straightforward nutrition meal plan, I was able to get back to living my best and most healthy life!
